Market research is a conservative industry. The world around us seems to change at a faster pace than market research and marketing itself. The world around us is heading ‘open source’ and ‘collaboration’, which isn’t immediately true for market research as an industry.
Three New Frontier research agencies, Blauw, BrainJuicer and InSites Consulting have committed themselves to challenge and change the rules, the status quo.
They’ve committed to combine their efforts to push innovation in market research and marketing by collaborating into a joint event: ‘Hide or Ride?’
Hide or Ride?
‘Hide of Ride?’ is the theme for the event; it’s a slightly confronting question.
It asks each individual whether he/she is going to join forces to shape the market research and marketing world or hide away from the pressures of economic downturn, hoping it will get over soon so we can slide back into old habits, like nothing has happened.
It provokes people to step up to the challenge of fundamentally improving current market research practices, to create inspiring research in stead of risk reducing research, to hide behind.
